The recommended dose for adults and children 12 years or older is 5 mg daily.
Contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to this medication or to any of its ingredients, or to loratadine.

- Grapefruit juice, grapefruit products, and the fruit grapefruit increase the amount of desloratadine in your body.
- The use of drinks that contain alcohol can increase your risk of drowsiness from desloratadine.
