Located at Jeetpur, Birgunj on a total area of 216 thousand sq. ft. where the manufacturing of all the formulations is done. We have added a specialized separate section for beta-lactam products constructed as per the guidelines of the national drug regulatory body. This isolated penicillin manufacturing facility can even manufacture products which require low humidity conditions.
NPL’s injectable manufacturing covers both Terminal Sterilization and Aseptic Filling technologies for vials, ampoules with a wide range of filling volumes.

QC department of NPL is a state of art laboratory consisting of most of the sophisticated instruments and facilities to cater the analytical needs of the company. This department has separate testing areas for Chemical analysis, Instrumental analysis, Microbiology analysis etc. The environmental condition of the laboratory is maintained to meet the analytical requirements.
The department has appropriate number of well-educated and experienced members to take care of all the analytical activities. The members of the departments are from different back ground including Chemistry, Pharmacy and Microbiology. The knowledge of the members is being upgraded time to time through internal and external trainings.
QC department of NPL is equipped with many of the advance instruments like UFLC (Ultra-fast liquid chromatograph), HPLC (High performance liquid chromatograph), GC (Gas Chromatograph), IR (Infra-red) spectrophotometer, TOC (Total Organic Carbon) analyzer, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Dissolution tester, Potentiometric titrator, Liquid Particle counter (LPC), Osmometer, Viscometer etc. All these instruments are being utilized for testing of raw materials, packing materials and finished products at different stages as per the need
QC department of NPL is involved in testing of all types of input materials (Raw and pack materials), finished products at different stages, water analysis and stability samples. QC dept. is involved in environmental monitoring as per the need. Sterility testing, Endotoxin testing, Microbial limit testing are some of the analytical activities being carried out in microbiology section. QC department of NPL is also responsible to maintain the control samples of all the batches manufactured and marketed by us.
We are also maintaining reference standards appropriately for our routine analytical work. We have been receiving reference standards from Indian Pharmacopeia Commission (IPC) and other authorized agencies. We are also receiving and maintaining reference standards of USP, BP and EP grade for developing traceable working standards for our routine analysis. As impurity analysis of drug products getting prime importance these days, we are also maintaining required impurity standards for routine analysis of our products.

Production planning & Inventory control is one of the primary tasks every company needs to pay close attention to since inventory is typically the second largest expense for businesses. PPIC is the practice of planning the manufacturing process and controlling the inventory of raw materials to be produced into finished goods. It is also a department in a manufacturing company that is responsible for planning and controlling a series of processes to make sure they run according to a predetermined plan.
We have a dedicated PPIC team that translates procurement requirements for the marketing of finished products into the form of production plan & availability of raw materials and packaging materials. Our PPIC department works side by side with several other departments such as production, QA, QC procurement, and finance.
The coordination between all the departments is backed up by highly qualified and trained personnel to deliver quality of all the batches manufactured, at every stage of manufacturing / processing of drug products.
