In the treatment of mouth ulcers, gum diseases like gum inflammation (gingivitis) and prevention of dental plaque.
Apply a small quantity of gel with a clean finger or cotton swab on the affected area 2-3 times a day or as directed by the physician. Do not rinse the mouth or drink or eat anything for 30 minutes after applying the gel. Do not swallow.
Contraindicated for patients who have previously shown a hypersensitivity reaction to chlorhexidine, metronidazole or lignocaine.
Avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying the gel. Avoid putting dentures back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth. Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods which can make the pain and sting worse.
Application site reactions – burning, irritation, itching and redness, Dryness, Metallic taste, Nausea, Staining of teeth.
Store in a cool dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
