  • Primary Hypercholesterolemia (Heterozygous familial and non-familial) and Mixed Dyslipidemia (Fredrickson Type IIa and IIb)
  • Homozygous familial Hypercholesterolemia
  • Prevention of cardiovascular disease

Primary Hypercholesterolemia (Heterozygous familial and non-familial) and Mixed Dyslipidemia)

Adult Initial: 10 to 20 mg once daily.

For LDL-C reduction (more than 45%): 40 mg once daily initially.

The maximum dose of ATOR is 10 to 80 mg once daily.

Heterozygous Familial hypercholesterolemia in Pediatric patients

(10-17 years of age) Initial: 10mg/day

Maximum: 20 mg/day

Homozygous familial Hypercholesterolemia:

Recommended dose: 0 to 80 mg once daily.

  • Active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevations of serum transaminases.
  • Hypersensitivity to any component of this medication.
  • Pregnancy category: Category X
  • Renal insufficiency: Dose adjustment in patients with renal dysfunction is not necessary.
  • Use with caution in the elderly: risk of myopathy
  • Diarrhea
  • Arthralgia
  • Nasopharyngitis
  • Store it at or below 25°C in the original package to protect it from light and moisture.
  • Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and pets.
