As a supplement in patients with vitamin B12 deficiency and in those with diabetes and other conditions like – Bell’s Palsy, Eye Function, Heart Rate Variability, Male Impotence, Sleep Disturbance, Megaloblastic anaemia and Neurodegenerative diseases.
Adult: 1500 mcg/day.
Patient with low amount of potassium in the blood and inflammation of the stomach called atropic gastritis.
Since B-vitamins tend to work best together, it’s important to maintain the balance of Vitamin B12 and another B-vitamin called folate in the body. Taking large doses of one B-vitamin alone is not a good idea so if you are taking extra B12, you might want to take a B-complex pill as well.
GI effects from methylcobalamin may include anorexia, diarrhea, headache, nausea, and vomiting.
Store at controlled room temperature (59° to 86°F). Protect from excessive moisture.
