For the treatment of cough, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold.

Children

  • 6 to 11 years: 5 mL orally every 4 hours not to exceed 6 doses daily.
  • 12 years or older: 10 mL orally every 4 hours not to exceed 6 doses daily.

Contraindicated in asthma or COPD, cough with mucus, a blockage in digestive tract (stomach or intestines), liver or kidney disease, glaucoma.

Do not use chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine along with MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine, and others.

  • Common Side effects s – Dizziness, Feeling nervous and excitable, Not able to sleep, Feeling sleepy.
  • Serious Side effects  – Wheezing, Tightness in the chest or throat, Trouble breathing.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
