Burns, ulcers, boils, impetigo, otitis externa, Tinea infections, cutaneous candidiasis, post-operation dressings, urinary catheterization.
Hypersensitivity to Povidone-iodine.
Avoid contact with eyes. It should not be used under occlusive dressing and in pregnancy & lactation. Burns may occur if used along with benzoin tincture.
Application to large areas of denuded skin may produce systemic effects due to iodine absorption. Other side effects are hypersensitivity reactions and irritation of the skin.
Store in col and dry place away from sunlight.
