AMX- CV 625 – Adults and children weighing 40 kilograms (kg) or more – 250 milligrams (mg) amoxicillin and 125 mg clavulanate every 8 hours or 500 mg amoxicillin and 125 mg clavulanate every 12 hours.

  • If you are allergic to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
  • If you have a history of severe allergic reactions to any other antibiotic like cephalosporins, monobactam, carbapenem.
  • Kidney Disease:

In patients with kidney disease, drug should be used with caution. Dosage needed to be adjusted. Patients with serious kidney failure should not take this drug.

  • Liver Disease:

In patients with liver disease, drug should be used with caution. Dosage needed to be adjusted. When taking this medication, you should get your liver function tested on a regular basis.
