Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide tabletsare indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensive agents to lower blood pressure.
In case of patients who are not controlled on monotherapy like Telmisartan 80 mg and other lower dose combination drugs.

Once daily dosing
Dosage Modification:
Renal Impairment
Mild to moderate: Dose adjustment not required
Severe: Initiate with lower dose combination; titrate slowly
Hepatic Impairment
Initiate with lower dose combination; titrate slowly
Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity (e.g., anaphylaxis or angioedema) to telmisartan, hydrochlorothiazide, or any other component of this product.
Discontinue immediately with pregnancy; increased fetal/neonatal morbidity and mortality
May cause hypotension, particularly if volume or salt depleted (correct before initiating)
Titrate slowly in patients with hepatic or severe renal impairment
Most common reported include nausea, upper respiratory tract infection, UTI, diarrhea, hypotension.
